8th Grade Glow Up Event
The National Junior Honor Society is hosting an 8th Grade ONLY Glow Up to High School hang out event on Monday, May 18th from 3:00 – 4:30 PM. Jersey Mike’s sandwiches will be available as well as lemonade and cookies from Chick-fil-A.
As we know, these kiddos are starving and sandwiches just aren’t enough. Please consider donating chips, popcorn, pretzels, fruits, veggies and drinks to tide them over until they raid your kitchen we they get home! See the sign up sheet to donate. Items can be brought to the school as early as Thursday, May 14th.
8th Grade Continuation
8th Grade Continuation is scheduled for Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 AM. Please enter through the south doors nearest the large gym beginning as early as 9:45 AM, when doors will open. Limited parking is available in our school lot and street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is encouraged.

CMAS Score Reports
The Colorado Department of Education’s Family Portal has everything you need to understand your child’s CMAS results. Log in starting Friday, May 29th to access all things CMAS, including a score report and videos to help you understand your child’s results.
ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

988 Colorado Mental Health Line
A new state law requires schools to share information about the 988 Colorado Mental Health Line. The service provides free, confidential support 24/7 from trained specialists through calls, texts, or live chats. Families can learn more by visiting 988Colorado.com.

Career & Elevation Summer Camps
The Career Elevation and Technology Center is offering hands-on, future-focused summer camps to all incoming 8th and 9th graders. The camps offer engaging experiences in automotive technology, health careers, welding, advanced manufacturing, pre-law, and agricultural science. Camps run in late May and June; registration is open through May 15, as space allows.
