Attendance

Please read this flyer regarding Good School Attendance.

No Late Start in October

The Colorado Department of Education has identified Wednesday, October 5 as the official statewide October Count Day for the 2016-2017 school year. To comply with this state mandate and ensure maximum attendance, St. Vrain Valley Schools will have a full day of school with a normal start time on Wednesday, October 5 in place of the previously scheduled late start day.

Your assistance with this important state requirement is greatly appreciated as funding for St. Vrain schools and the important resources for our students are directly impacted by the October 5 attendance numbers. For more information, please contact your school’s front office.

Thank you again for your ongoing support for our students and schools.

Parking Lot Safety:
  1. Drop students off on the West curb. The East side of the parking lot is for bus drop-offs.
  2. If you are dropping off or picking up a student please pull as far forward a possible in the lane and only drop off/pick up students at the curb. Please don’t “double park” and drop off/pick up students. It is  dangerous for students to cross the pick up lane traffic to get to a car on the other side.
  3. The west curb is for “quick” drop offs. If you are going to park for an extended period of time please park in a parking spot.
  4. Please stop at our designated cross walk.
  5. If parking in the lot, please leave space for kids to walk.  Also, please be very careful when pulling away from your spot.
  6. Finally, please drive slowly and be patient of others.  Don’t let frustration cause a preventable  accident.
