Meg Lawless, M.M.E. is a choral music educator specializing in school & community youth choir. She believes passionately in the power of music to build connection and create community. This year marks her 21st year in public school education and her 14th year at Mead Middle. She is also the Artistic Director of Summit Singers, a community pop choir for kids based in Mead.

Mrs. Lawless has led school choir programs in Indianapolis, Chicago and at the Hong Kong International School. She has also served as lead director for many community children’s choirs, most recently with the Boulder Children’s Chorale and the Centennial Children’s Chorus (Fort Collins), and is an active guest clinician and choral coordinator throughout the state. She received her undergraduate degree in Choral Music Education from Butler University and her Masters in Music Education from University of Colorado-Boulder.

She loves travel, yoga, the ocean, and spending time with her husband and two kiddos..and being a MMS Bulldog!
