Hello Mead families! My name is Kara Monley, and I am thrilled to be teaching 7th grade Language Arts this year. I hold a degree in English Secondary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. My goal is to help students discover their voice as writers and foster a lifelong love for reading!

In addition to teaching, I love staying involved in our community as the Student Council advisor and as a coach for volleyball, basketball, and track and field.

Outside the classroom, you can usually find me in Grand Lake wake surfing, running outside, or spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
