Hello! My name is Alma Berumen, and I have been the Attendance Clerk at Mead Middle School since 2023. I truly love my job and enjoy building relationships with our students, their families, and our school community. Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who comes through our doors is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

I have been happily married for 28 years, and my husband and I have three wonderful children, ages 27, 24, and 16. I was born in Mexico and I'm bilingual in both Spanish and English, which allows me to connect with and support many of our families.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and taking vacations to the beach—it's my favorite place to relax and recharge :)
