School Fundraiser
We launched our school fundraiser today and we hope our Bulldog parents will show school pride and support Mead Middle! Your enthusiastic participation is key to the success of this fundraiser, and we are encouraging all families to donate and share with their family and friends. All online donations will come through here and it is very easy to donate!

Safety Reminder
We have had students walking along the ditch to parents waiting to pick up their student along Welker Ave. after school. We realize after school pick ups are busy, but safety is our first priority and ask that parents and students use pick up/drop off lanes on our school grounds.

While all St. Vrain Valley students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily through Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program, submitting an application provides additional benefits to families such as fee waivers, college exam discounts, and reduced internet and utility costs, and also helps bring federal funding to support classrooms, after-school programs, technology, and additional meals and snacks for students. Applications are available online or at Nutrition Services, 2929 Clover Basin Dr., Longmont. Learn More

Schoology / Infinite Campus
Parents or guardians needing assistance with online resources, such as Infinite Campus or Schoology can find more information here.
Health Office Reminders
How sick is too sick to send your student to school? Please see here for the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment guidelines.
Attendance Updates & Absences
It is very important when a student is absent from school that the parent/guardian telephone on the morning of the absence (970) 535-4446.
Prearranged Absences: If a student knows he/she will be absent, the parent/guardian must contact the office. Failure to prearrange an absence may result in the absence not being excused.
Parents have 48 hours to excuse any absences or tardies. We encourage parents to obtain a doctor note to excuse the absence and submit that to the front office.
Make-Up Work:
- Check Schoology for homework and assignments.
- Collect any missed worksheets from the designated area in each classroom.
- See each teacher upon return.
Parking Lot Safety
- Drop students off on the West curb.
- If you are dropping off or picking up a student, please pull as far forward as possible in the lane and only drop off/pick up students at the curb. Please don’t “double park” and drop off/pick up students. It is dangerous for students to cross the pick up lane traffic to get to a car on the other side.
- The west curb is for “quick” drop offs. If you are going to park for an extended period of time, please park in a parking spot.
- If parking in the lot, please leave space for kids to walk in between cars. Also, please be very careful when pulling away from your spot.
- Please talk to your child about not running out into the parking lot to your car. Please reinforce that you will pick them up on the curb, or that they can use the crosswalk to get to your car in the parking lot.
- Please stay off your cell phone in our parking lot.
- Finally, please drive slowly and be patient with others. Don’t let frustration cause a preventable accident.
