EXCEL = Extra – Curricular Engagement and Learning
We believes that students who get involved and are connected to the school are more likely to succeed and that our focus on reading, writing, and math has made us an excellent middle school.
Additionally, we believe our efforts to engage students in school activities have contributed to our success. Our EXCEL program allows us to extend students’ learning and sense of belonging by offering additional programs outside the regular instructional day. By doing this, we can maintain our core academic focus during the school day while also providing opportunities for students to become well-rounded individuals. Our goal is to have 100% of our students involved in co-curricular or extracurricular activities.”
