Mead Middle School Weekly Update:

Introduction to Energy

Mead Middle School has an exciting new class beginning for 3rd quarter.  The class is called Introduction to Energy.  Introduction to Energy is a class for 8th graders that have interest in applying to the Mead High School Energy Academy.  In this class, students will engage in a variety of modeling and hands on activities.  Students will learn about different energy sources and energy careers.  Introduction to Energy is a quarter long class that will be offered in both 3rd and 4th quarters.  Please contact Mrs. Vaughan in the counseling office if you would like your 8th grader to sign up for this class.

Hurry, Hurry  —  Only two weeks left to buy a Yearbook for $32!

As of January 2016,  the price will go up to $37 for the rest of the year.

Lost and found

We will be donating all items in our lost and found during winter break.  Please come and look through our over-flowing lost and found before your stuff is gone!

Thank you to all who ordered gift cards!! Your cards are on their way and will be available for pickup and delivery on December 15th.

Our next PAC Meeting is January 11th. We will be discussing dance and conference meals and new information about our MEAD MASH for 2016. Please join us!! We value your feedback and ideas.

Bulldog Den Update:

NOT ABLE TO GET YOUR KIDS AFTER SCHOOL?

Mead Middle School has an after school ENRICHMENT program called Bulldogs Den that begins at 2:50-6:00 pm in the Cafeteria. We are open Monday-Friday (when school is open). We provide sacks, homework time, activities, games, free-time, and friendships. Bulldogs Den provides a safe place for them to grow and enjoy networking with other students.

If you are wondering what to do with your child on late start days, beginning in February our Community School program will be offering morning child care.  More information will be coming, so keep your eyes out for details!
