Bulldog Vocal Jazz

Vocal jazz is a rich genre with lots to offer young vocalists.  Mead Middle School is the only school in the district that offers such an ensemble.  Vocal jazz is a great bridge to the harmonies and vocal styles of pop and acapella singing (such as the style of "Pentatonix" and "FACE"), two genres many students are currently engaged in.

Auditions will be open to all 7th and 8th grade students enrolled in a music class.  Auditions are done in a group format with no individual singing required; some written paperwork is also required and due by the day of the audition.  Auditions this year will be held from 7:00am-7:45am on Tuesday, August 29th, with our first rehearsal beginning Friday, September 1st.  Audition packets are available in the choir room AND on the Bulldog Vocal Jazz Schoology Group (access code is H3MFZ-7C3K4).  We will rehearse every Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7:00 - 7:45am during FIRST SEMESTER ONLY.
